We envision that children in Myanmar are prepared for the future challenges that come with reform in Myanmar. In order to benefit these changes and compete in global economy, we require our next generation to stay relevant, intellectual and be effective communicators. To give our children a good start, we bring in the best practices and pedagogy that are being taught currently in the best schools around the world. We are empowering the children with strong academic foundation that enables them to think critically, plan strategically in the tough competition while not missing out the childhood funs they deserve.
We understand the diversities in children and their need to learn through play. Their learning styles differ from each other in four main categories which are partial visual, kinaesthetic or movement, language-oriented, and logical while some may have a mixture. Our teachers are trained to recognize their differences and nurture their unique abilities. Our teachers pledge to exercise “Developmentally Appropriate Practices” in line with our“Star approach” to bring out the talents in each child. Our curriculum is designed to foster the children to become the life-long learner, well-rounded and balanced with multiple talents to be regarded as highly-valued individuals in future.
We, teachers are researchers and facilitator of the children. Teachers being a facilitator, we inspire, create engaging environment, provide learning opportunities and scaffold their learning.
Our school founder is a trained teacher of Ministry of Education in Singapore and acquired years of teaching experience in Singapore. Our teachers are fully qualified, experienced and have good command of English. We handpicked our teachers so that our teaching pool is built with specialized professionals who are truly passionate in early childhood education and equipped with good knowledge of the field. All our teachers have international school teaching experience. Continuous training and coaching is also given to the teachers to ensure that they are updated with the best practices around the world. With high : low- teacher: children ratio, the children benefit close attention from adults.
Our philosophy is based on the principles and beliefs in early childhood that are regarded as “Developmentally Appropriate Practices” which are researched based and as according to the guidelines of early childhood organization bodies around the world.
We strongly believe that parents are the first teacher of every child’s life. Therefore, we regard parents as our partner to help shape the learning journey of the child. We love to collaborate with parents in educating our children. We welcome ideas, feedbacks and support from parents. We communicate with parents regularly. Parent-teacher meeting happens after every term.
