The School

Our school is founded based on a vision that children in Myanmar deserve the quality education with affordable school fees.

We understand the diversities in children and their need to learn through play. Their learning styles differ from each other in four main categories which are partial visual, kinaesthetic or movement, language-oriented, and logical while some may have a mixture.

Curriculum

We believe that children are the natural explorer. We tap on their curiosity to bring them to a learning journey which is exciting and highly rewarding.

Jolly Phonics

Jolly Phonics is world-wide popular phonics program which is a fun and child centred approach to teaching literacy through synthetic phonics. Jolly phonics lessons provide the multi-sensory method with actions for each of the 42 letter sounds. Children will learn 42 main letters sound and digraphs, letter formation, blending, identifying the sounds in words and tricky words that have irregular spellings. Listening for the sounds in words gives children the best start for improving spelling. Jolly phonics is accompanied by Jolly music and Jolly grammar.

GINN reading

This structured reading program is widely used in most international schools world-wide. It is a systematic approach and progressive approach to the reading with a high frequency words at each level. It is well designed and children may upgrade their reading skills to upper levels even after they graduate from our school. Workbook is accompanied to introduce writing

Learning beyond the classroom

All levels of children are allowed for the opportunity to learn beyond the classroom. We organise educational and fun field trips. All the field trips are relevant to the theme and lessons of the school term.

Environment

Inspired by Reggio Emilia method, environment plays a vital role in our approach. Our environment is carefully designed so that children can best create meaning and make sense of their world through environments which support "complex, varied, sustained, and changing relationships between people, the world of experience, ideas and the many ways of expressing ideas." Every space is purposefully allocated, carefully and artistically decorated to encourage children of creativity and to analyse and create something on their own. Our application of real-life objects inspires our children to understand the purpose of things around their world.
